So um hello *googles things to put in for a profile* I guess you can call me Aren.

I'm pretty much your average societal reject. I guess that's why I'm here, I enjoy immersing myself in the worlds of fiction. To cast aside the problems of my life and see a new world through new eyes.

Recently I got into (became obsessed) with the metro franchise, a series that in my honest opinion is criminally underrated. Thus when I couldn't find enough stories to slacken my thirst I decided to write my own, something I encourage everyone who sees this to do.

That my friends is why I'm here writing this, why you (I hope *echo*) are reading this. So I ask, take a gamble read some of my stories, tell me some new ones, and lets go to a new world together.

A story following the enlightened ending of metro-2033 and paralleling the plot of Last Light. We (you) get to see Artyom reap the consequences of defying orders to do what he thinks is right. An entire lifetime can be defined by a single moment, now what does Artyom do after he has his.

loosely connected Achronological oneshots of artyom experiencing doubt preluding the enlightened ending of metro-2033 somewhat of a prequel to Metro The First.

Requests

Blew my F* mind recently that someone actually considered me good enough to ask if I do requests (Thank you, you know who). I can't draw to save my life. but I will take story requests if I know the fandom. However I make no guarantees that they will meet any standards word count wise

Metro Franchise

The metro video games are mediocre shooters, with mediocre graphics, That have an AMAZING story. to say anything worse is just wrong. Haven't read the books yet, but I want to.

Naruto

Why does the fanfiction community insist on crossing this over with LITERALLY (proper use of literally) EVERYTHING! I know a lot of people like it, personally not my cup of tea, but seriously it's pretty much a rule of the internet that "If it has a fandom, it has been crossed over with naruto.

(P.s probably burned a lot of bridges with that so just an fyi I don't think any less of anyone who likes it. I just don't understand why.)

Original characters

I generally dislike OCs on principle especially in story length pieces. I find it's way to easy for them to become a mary/gary sue or they end up being a persons idealised version of them self turned self insert. If I use an OC in my story or see one in a piece I read they must meet the following guidelines. Keep in mind that this is for fanfiction personal stories I withhold judgement.

Can't be the main character. Guys this is FANFICTION you want a story about your character go to fictionpress.

Side Characters are always fine if there screen time is minimal and they aren't pulling the main character out of the fire.

Can't be family related to the main character. It's pushing my sense of disbelief that the main character somehow has a relative that they never knew/talked about.

If they actually stick around for more than a few scenes they need to meet the following guidelines.

They need to be flawed, and I don't mean that they have a random fear or singular shortcoming. I'm talking stuff that can have them grow as a character throughout the plot. Stuff like a greedy man learning value isn't always monetary.

Unless they are in a dying role they need to be likeable

If they are in a dying role and are not likeable They need to have a reason for being alive for the moment and the reader needs to hate them so much they are cheering when they get what's coming to them.
