Update regarding my in-progress stories: My 81 year old father had a bad fall in mid-March 2015, and has been diagnosed with dementia (to go along with his diabetes, blindness and assorted other health problems). He's currently in a nursing home but is very unhappy there (despite the excellent staff, great food, and nice facilities) and has been taking that frustration out on me. So between trying to deal with his myriad health issues and now his passive-agressive to flat-out aggressive behaviors, and having a full-time job and life, I've not had the time or the mojo to write. I am still plotting in my head as much as I can and will return to posting as soon as I can! Thanks for understanding.

About me: Hello, I'm Angela. I live in the US and I love to read. I'm an academic advisor, and started writing fanfic to give me a nice outlet from all of the academic writing from my (now thankfully completed!) dissertation. I have continued because it's so much fun!

I can't remember a time when I wasn't surrounded by books, and I've enjoyed reading tons of fanfics over the last several months. After reading the last couple of Stephanie Plum books I have to admit that I've read a number of fanfics on here that are actually way better, in my humble opinion, than the more recent offerings from Ms. Evanovich herself.

I'm mostly a Babe, but I don't think Morelli is an evil SOB, he's just not right for Stephanie. Sometimes I get a bit pissy with Ranger's hand's off attitude/ behavior and then I start writing angsty stuff where Steph tells him to do anatomically impossible things and/or accuses him of things that would have Sigmund Freud weeping in a corner in shock.

To my surprise, I'm turning into a Tart as well, and I love stories where Steph ends up in a healthy relationship with a Merry Man. Lester is my favorite of late.

After months of reading everyone else's work, I finally decided to try to write one of my own,and wrote a behemoth, "Stephanie's Great Escape" based on the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. Not sure exactly how it turned into an epic, but there you go. My muse likes 'em long.

I've also started a handful of other 'Strong Stephanie' stories where Stephanie Plum, our intrepid bounty hunter from hell, takes control of her life to the shock/ amusement/ amazement/ applause (choose your own adjective) of her friends, family and colleagues.

All reviews are welcome, positive or not, as long as they are constructive. So please let me know what you think! Also, I generally have an idea of where I want the story to go, but I'm totally open to suggestions. I'm happy to be the online equivalent of the Choose Your Own Adventure books I read as a kid if I get some cool and interesting ideas.

Note: Since this is fan fiction, unfortunately I don't own any of the characters! I wish I did, but I don't. I'm just being a green citizen by recycling some fantastic characters! I make no money and profit, just the enjoyment of being creative and getting reviews/ responses from others who enjoy fan fic too. And I all I have are gigantic piles of student loans, and anyone who's interested is more than welcome to have those.
