Christine Piccolo has lived in Seattle, Washington for over 20 years and with her Paralegal Degree and Forensic Certification, has worked as an Investigator within the Criminal Justice System for 17 years. She has been watching soap operas since 1984 when she fell in love with Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso’s ‘Bo and Hope’ on Days of Our Lives- the rest is history! In 1998 she began watching General Hospital, as well as Port Charles and then One Life To Live.

Last year she created Reluctant Heart, a fan board dedicated to her favorite actors Nathan Parsons and Lexi Ainsworth, in support of their characters Ethan and Kristina on General Hospital. It has become a positive community amongst their fans and a place to call home, to chat live, post fan comments, fan videos, fan fiction and catch up on their favorite shows.

RHeart Radio began with the idea it would be another way for fans to voice their feelings and concerns about the direction the soaps have taken. With the controversial firing of Lexi Ainsworth, Chrissy felt it was necessary to let their voices be heard on a different type of format in addition to Reluctant Heart. Since then, after seeing the devastation the fans felt once All My Children and One Live To Live were cancelled, she is more dedicated than ever in saving the soap genre. RHeart Radio has co-branded with Save The Soap Genre and our hope is to keep daytime, primetime and online scripted serials on our screens.

Chrissy was lucky enough to find an amazing friend and co-host in Dania Padron and added Phylicia Baisa as co-host after hopes of creating her own Ethan and Kristina board were dashed upon Lexi’s firing. Both have become an integral part of RHeart Radio and Chrissy is happy to have them on her team! RHeart Radio's ‘mission' is to continue being the Fan’s Voice as well as the voice for all the hard-working, dedicated soap actors within the genre (on daytime, primetime and online) as we continue to fight for the future of our soaps!
