![]() Author has written 4 stories for Sweep, Mediator, and Phantom of the Opera. Hello, hello! Thank you for visiting my profile :). As you can see, I have been with fanfiction/fictionpress (id SapphireIce68) for quite some time, and my writing has developed and changed and been through great writer's block and I'm hoping it has emerged somewhere on the other side for the better, although usually I'm not sure. Right now I'm exclusively working on stories related to the Phantom of the Opera, since it is a wonderful obsession of mine. I had been working on Even Though It's Breaking, my first phantom fanfic. To all readers of that story: I love this story so much, and I had such high hopes for it, but right now it really isn't working for me, and I honestly think that the best thing for me to do will be to take down the last chapter (chapter 19, maybe even 18) and completely re-work it, and go from there. In the meantime, I am working on two fresh phantom stories, one titled Bring Me to Life and another one currently untitled. I am really excited about them, and I honestly hope you love them! Writing is my one most favorite thing in the world. On a different note, if you have the means and the time, I highly, highly suggest seeing Phantom Las Vegas, which is closing this coming September. I have seen almost every phantom movie, read many print adaptations, as well as read the original novel and seen the original Broadway production, and I have to tell you that if you really love phantom, Phantom Las Vegas is absolutely incredible and it is something you will never forget. Also I probably totally shouldn't say this because you're all going to hate me, but I really suggest that you see Love Never Dies. I know, it's blasphemy. No true phantom fan can actually like Love Never Dies, because ballerinas don't shoot their friends, etc etc. I'm telling you: I am obsessed with phantom. I live and breath Erik. I love Leroux, and I'm usually a die hard purist. But. But. See Love Never Dies. Despite your qualms about the plot... it's a beautiful, beautiful production. The music is passionate and it won't fail to bring you to tears, if you really watch. I saw the DVD version, which is of the Australian production, and I must have seen it as least three times at this point. No matter what else it is... it's beautiful. Please see it! That's enough out of me! Hope to see you on the reviewing side =) IceCliff |
