I'm young, I'll give you that. I love to write. I will, in the future, be pursuing a career in it. The reason?
I love being able to escape into a good book. I love the feeling of immersing myself in the problems of
someone else. The feeling that 99.9 of the time, the problems will be resolved (and neatly, at that).
I want to be able to do that for other people. I don't care if a million people spit on my books (although,
I suspect that would be disheartening), if it meant one teenage girl, adult man, or a now single woman
going through a divorce got to escape from the problems in life, if only for a few hours, then I'd be happy.
I'd love for my books to have fanfictions written about them, in the future. I think it means you're, as a writer,
doing something write if people can dream and pair and predict character relations.
