I consider myself a good writer, not as good as the "professionals" (they only have practice. I'm getting it now).

I'm a Warrior Cats fan, so I'll be writing there, but I'm also a big Avatar: The Last Airbender fan as well as Percy Jackson. (Yes, I get around.)

Let's see...

Some opinions, I guess.

-If you don't know grammar, you shouldn't be writing. I know this sounds horrible, but let's just say that I have heard of people here that aren't very nice and will flame for reasons such as grammar.
In addition to that, I'm a grammar FREAK. Commas, periods, quotation marks, you name it: if it's not in the right place, then I'm probably not going to like what you write.

-Flaming is WRONG. For God's sakes, do I even have to say this? Some people are very connected to their writings, and if you insult them, they're going to get discouraged and stop writing. If that's your purpose, well, you might need to get a life and a different mindset. Writing is something everyone deserves a chance to try, and, hey, if you flame, you're opening the door for people to flame YOU.

-2012 is a bunch of bullshit. Why? It just is. The world has had many "the world will end" dramas and the world hasn't ended. The world will end when the sun begins to deteriorate, and the first stage of that process is getting HUGE!!! That probably won't be for a while.

-Education is important. All of us writers here probably believe that, too, whether you want to admit it or not. I use my education as a way to get ahead of people.

-If you smoke, you're pretty stupid. I don't care what you say your IQ is or that you might have beat me on a test, it's just that a cigarette is a burning stick and you're putting it in your mouth. C'mon! HOW DUMB IS THAT?

-If you do drugs, you're pretty stupid. Just look up what happens when you're high, when you come down from a high, and the long-term effects of, say, crack. Tell me what you find and that's your proof right there.

-If it's not a fact, I'm not going to believe you. For the record, "statistics" might not be facts. For all we know, somebody writing the "nonfiction" piece made up the stat to make themselves look smart.
There's also the possibility of being let down. For example, if your best friend comes up to you and says that your crush likes you (OMG!), you should NEVER believe it! Why? Because it could be a bunch of total BS. For all you know, it could only be a rumor. Wait until your crush tells you or asks you out, or better yet, ask them out. Another example: One time, a girl was told she could have cancer in her thyroid gland. She finished school early just in case, her parents began to plan her funeral, and her friends cried every day. As she was about to get her first chemo treatment, the doctors did a quick test and found out that she was benign, or cancer-free. Yes, that girl was me.

-Abortion is okay under certain circumstances. And I mean these circumstances have to be pretty extreme. Seriously.

Yeah, I got a lot more. But that's enough of my opinions for you today...
