Hn. Well, I finally got around to joining after a year of dabbling in the realm of fanfiction. Unfortunately, school is upon me at the moment and I can't estimate when I will finally have time to post something... If I can help it, I'll be up and running relatively soon.

-Margaret Weiss (only her early stuff up to Soulforge. The latest trilogies are just excuses to make more money. Grg, such a waste of talent. I can't think of many who enjoy reading about every character they ever loved being killed off.)

-Ellen Kushner (yay for political intrigue)

-Tamora Pierce (yay for the love of my life. I've met her beams and clutches autographed books like psychotic woman)

-good writing
-humor/comedy
-drama
-historical accuracy

Dislike
-oodles of sap (gag me with a spoon...)
-rape, NCS in fics portrayed as "I've been hurt, make me better." Rape is a bad thing and shouldn't be glorified in the slightest.
-writing that holds no effort by the author
-heavily OOC stories. Tend to go with the things above this.
