Hello friends!

I guess this is where I'm supposed to tell you all about myself. Not much to tell, really. I'm a single working mommy of two boys, Harry Potter extraordinaire, and avid creative mind.

I'm a certified Harry Potter freak. Don't ask me how it happened. I don't know.

I'm a big fan of Draco/Hermione. I think it's because (as I've said so many times before) I'm kinda Hermione-ish, in that I'd rather read than do just about anything else, and I was sort of a goody-two-shoes know-it-all in school, plus I've always had a thing for bad boys. I'm kind of a paradox among Dramione (OMG did I really just say that?) fans though. To a lot of them, if the fic doesn't include Ron getting killed, hurt, being made a fool of, just being a straight-up idiot, or some combo of the 4, it's not a good fic. I don't mind Ron/Hermione, though. Or just about any guy with Hermione really, if it's well-written. Except Dumbledore and Snape...gross! Or Filch (I haven't even looked for any of these...I seriously hope no one's THAT twisted.) I might go on a writing spree and write a fic for the major guys-Harry (which I'm actually playing around with now), Ron , the twins, maybe Lupin, Sirius, or one of the older Weasley fellas. Take that, Draco lovers!

I am THOROUGHLY embarassed by 'Spontaneity.' It's incredibly fluffy and sappy...I don't know what came over me after the 2nd chapter. I hope I'm making up for it with 'The Game.

OK, so I didn't get nommed for the Dramiones. HOWEVER...I did get a nice write up on LJ, which suffices for me. Thank you, recc'er!! My Head Bigger-er

Harper's Island is a more recent obsession. You'll notice the addition of an alive-and-well Sully to my stories. There's a good reason for that: I love him, and he deserved a lot better than he got. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of other characters I loved that got it as well, but I dunno...Sully inspires me, I guess.

The Princess Bride by William Goldman (that book is purely genius...I TOTALLY believed it.)

The Wilde Women by Paula Wall
Chick-Lit...I'm not ashamed to admit it, I LOVE it.
There are tons of other books that I like, but these are the ones I don't mind reading over and over and over again.

Formerly the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. Then I read books 3 and 4. I'm sorry, don't lynch me if you're a fan, but Edward annoys the ever-living snot out of me, as does Bella when she's around him. Go Jacob!

Favorite Movies:
Yeah, I'm not even going to try. You'd be here for days.

Music (the groups listed here aren't the only ones I like, merely the ones I like the most):
Les Miserables--I qualify this as it's own separate category b/c it's kick-ass and totally deserves it, even if it is depressing.
Musicals--this is different from movies, mostly because I say so. Bye Bye Birdie, Grease, NEWSIES (greatest movie ever!), 1776, the new Sweeney Todd w/Johnny Depp (YUM...crazy bloody, pretty disgusting and not just a little depressing...but still awesome.
Country--classic and new, I like just about everything.
Eighties Rock, preferably of the "hair" persuasion--which doesn't get NEARLY enough airtime on the radio. I love it all. Not a band out there, that I know of, that I don't like at least one song of.
Classic Rock--Queen, the old Bon Jovi stuff
"New" Rock--Green Day, Bowling for Soup
