When Amy locks him in a cupboard one day traumatic memories resurface and now he no longer trusts people. Can the help from two unlikely people help him move on from his past and trust his friends and family once more?

Sonic is left alone in the biggest battle against Eggman ever but what will it do to him, will I change or break him?

An alternate ending to the Fox and the Hound with an Epilogue. I recommend listening to the song, The Blue Beyond by Trisha Yearwood before you read, it sets the mood for the story.
