My name is Lyla and I'm a late-twenty-something unmarried, childless, amateur writer.

I am strangely attracted to All Human AU in the Twilight fandom, so I decided to do my own version. I don't own the characters (SMeyer and publishers do) and I don't even really own the basic plot because aren't all Human AU's essentially the same? But I do promise that I'm not a plagiarizer and I have a basic grasp on grammar and homonyms.

I also am ashamed to say that I enjoy virtually casting my characters and shopping for them. It helps me procrastinate actually writing. You can find these pictures in my photobucket account here:

A note to authors on my reviews: If I have left you a review of your story, it means I really liked it and that I'm trying to pay you a compliment, most often by describing my reaction to your character/story. My assumption is that the overwhelming majority of authors like reactions that go beyond "it was good, write more, update soon", and so I share my reaction. If you're writing an angsty story with characters doing jerky things, it is a COMPLIMENT to your writing when I tell you that my reaction to your character doing jerky things is to think he/she is a jerk and I hate them in that moment. I'm not asking you to change your story to make me like the character, or saying there is anything at all wrong with your writing. I'm saying, nice job! You'll pulled me in enough to invest in your story and react emotionally in the way you presumably want me to! Bottom line, I don't bother taking the time to feedback on stories I don't like, so don't read anything negative or demanding into a review in which no hating or demand for change is occurring.
