I've just been feeling rather nostalgic lately, and was browsing through our old HQ chats. How times change, right?

My first post in the "Welcome All" thread was almost three years ago. Back then, I was in 7th grade, not yet 13, and an avid reader of 39 Clues. For an amazing 8 months I spent so much time on the forums my dad often threatened to ban me from the computer altogether. There were so many hours spent chatting away with all of you, late into the night. Glomping, jacking random threads, and a crazy fun time. Back then, I thought I would stay here forever.

But then things changed. Once I entered eighth grade, life started to eat away at my free time. My interest in the 39 Clues waned. And a whole slew of new people joined The Madrigals, making it hard to keep track. It was overwhelming. And instead of finding a solution, I took the easy way out. As the months passed, less and less time was spent with my friends until I stopped posting completely. It was a huge mistake, and I regret it now.

In the two years that have passed, things have changed and evolved even more. Middle school ended and high school began. Then after a long time spent in the US, my family returned to Korea. It's been a real learning experience, and oftentimes a lonely one. And since then, I find myself questioning my choices and decisions and also questioning the world.

One day I logged back on to my old account. So many people have left the site since then. Others have graduated high school, moved on with their lives. (Funny, how we were once just out of childhood, and now we are almost considered adults) And just like when I left the US, I never said goodbye.

I'm sorry for sounding so ego-centric, and for not sticking through it all. And thank you for some of the best times and memories.
