This is my very first Langson story so be kind. Set somewhere in season 6. Rated T for now. Cases involving special victims aren't exactly Trevor Langan's favorites. It's become too much to handle, something has to change, something has to shift before it all crumbles apart. My take on Season 15.

Hiding a secret takes a lot of work, especially, if you've been hiding it for 15 years. You let other people talk to take the spotlight off you. Otherwise known as a 'right away'. What happens when a detective's secrets becomes too much to bear for her loved ones? EO fluff later! Of course, it's EO!

"His frame is smaller, less built. There is stubble on his chin and his shirt is wrinkled. His eyes are closed, trying to stop the tears, she thinks, but she knows if they were open they would show her the same thing she sees in the rest of him. He's broken. The night after Olivia's open court testimony against William Lewis, Elliot reflects on what he'd heard in that courtroom. She's sleeping in his arms, and he knows doesn't have options anymore.

Elliot always told her they would be partners till the end and he would be there to protect her. Bit sometimes promises have to be broken, no matter how many people get hurt.
