All By Myself
Sitting here
Crowded into a silent corner
Feeling the water hit my head
Falling to my knees
Not bothering to get up
Reduced to pieces
And laugh
Though it's okay
To be myself.
Crowded into a dark corner
Not seeming to mind
For sitting in mud
It isn't such a bad life
If I'm washed away once again
Sitting on the floor
Pull my knees up tight
Laughing through the cuts
And that's okay
To be myself.
Inside Out
They see right through me
We know it
But disregard it
For our pride is strong
And unbroken.
Sitting at the table
Spilling food on myself
Brushing it away
Dropping milk in my cereal
Splashing my white face
And they see right through me
Inside out.
