![]() Author has written 3 stories for Dragon Ball Z. I'm a 21 year old Navy wife with a passion for drawing and writing. I LOVE anime but am by no means an "otaku". "Otaku", in Japanese culture actually has very insulting connotations so if you have any friends that are proudly declaring themselves as such, tell them to stop.( If you wish to know the meaning of otaku, please look to the bottom of this page.) Some of my hobbies would be the obvious art writing and anime along with video games, swimming, biking, jogging, working out, discussion, debate, researching, and camping to name a few. My first anime love would definitely have to be to Dragon Ball Z. The first animes I've seen were actually Pokemanz and Sailor Moon which are ok at best. Some other animes that I love would be Soul Eater, Aquarion, Moribito, Both Fullmetal Alchemists, Dragonauts, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, Elfen Lied, Pretear, Ouran High School Host Club, Wolf's Rain, Vandread, This Ugly yet Beautiful World, Fate/Stay Night, and .Hack//Sign to name another few. Some favorite books would be The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion, Eragon, The Host, Christine Feehan's Dark Series, Harry Potter, Eragon, Artemis Fowl, and Wormwood. Some favorite authors would be Christine Feehan, J.R.R. Tolkien, Christopher Paolini, and J.K. Rowling. Favorite genres in anything: Romance, action/adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, suspense, and mystery. I'm a bit out of practice with writing but I'm getting back into it and should be writing better than I was before. The fanfics I already have posted are extremely old and I will not be continuing any of them. I will, however, be rewriting a few of them. Thanks for taking the time read my profile. I should hopefully have some fanfiction worth reading in the future if I can manage to balance my time properly between those, my original work, and my art. (Otaku means "honorable house" and used to be a polite term for "you" when addressing lesser known strangers. This later changed to a very insulting term used for geeks that never leave their houses, and insinuates that all they ever do is stay at home and watch lolicon porn and the like. If a Japanese person ever calls you an "otaku" it's a huge insult, so if you, or anyone you know, are someone that proudly proclaims to be an "otaku", stop.) |
