This is a rewrite of the end of the novel, and I stole shamelessly from the original novel. I also stole a teeny bit from Alexandra Ripley's Scarlett - a few words which I took from Mammy and gave to Melanie - so few that it's more that I must credit the idea and the sentiment, rather than the actual dialogue. I don't own Gone with the Wind or Scarlett, of course.

Marian doesn't die in S2E13 and returns to Nottingham from the Holy Land. She visits Guy at Locksley Manor, and they have an interesting conversation. There is an unexpected twist here.

Allan A Dale used to be in love, hard as it was, with Merry. The other girl in the gang (an OC). When Allan turns sides, he still cant get her out of his mind. This is a fic about chance meetings between the two that leave Allan wondering if Gisbourne's money is really worth everything he thought.
