Following on from 'Kidnapped', Peter and Neal make a start on getting back to business as usual. Something that is easier said than done.

It wasn't unusual for Neal to get into trouble during an investigation, but this time he was in trouble before the investigation even began.

Neal goes in undercover to take down the bad guy and save the day, it was just another case, until it wasn't. What happens when Neal loses years of his life? Will Peter finally find all the unanswered questions about Neal's past? Stay tuned to find out…

But when sights are set on Neal Caffrey, can Peter and his team save the young con before it's too late or be forced to watch as he dies with no way to stop it?

A worrisome illness arises leading to new friends, new struggles, new outlooks on events and also no-one saying what is actually going on. This isn't an AU or canon, kind of an extra layer to the canon portrayed from episode 3 of season 2. Rated T because of some dirty language and content in future chapters. Neal-centric. AU in future chapters because I like my own back-stories.

After having been released from his kidnappers, Neal has to learn to accept some changes in his life. - Another one of those "What happened to Neal after the season 5 finale" stories. Still I hope I found a different approach. I also wrote a sequell called "Feet".
