The Legacy of Two Generations: Begins as a Lily/James story about how they came together in their last year at Hogwarts. Continues on to the moment of their death and life after the attack. For the moment, Harry's Year 6 is on hold as I want to take a look back and do some editions. I kind of lost track of what I wanted to do with this story. Lily and James' story was easier to write as I had an outline in place and my writing juices were flowing, but as I got to Harry's 6th year, I really lost sight of where I wanted to go. Now that HBP is out I want to read back and see if I can salvage it and continue on. Don't worry, I won't give up on it.

You Must Remember Me: The war is over, Voldemort is dead and Harry and Ron have completed their training as Aurors and are now working in the Ministry of Magic. This story is mostly Ron/Hermione but there might be mentioning of other pairings now and then.

I'm sorry it has taken me a while to update YMRM, my only excuse, I have a new computer and I haven't had the time to load all my old files from my old comp to my new one. But don't worry, I'm trying to hurry and do so asap, the only problem is time; with the holidays coming up and winter break starting soon, I have testing and reports due in the next couple of weeks and I haven't had the time. I know, it's been more than a year since I last visited my story and posted anything new, I promised in the new chapter I just uploaded to give some explanation for my continual absence, not because I'm trying to make excuses but mostly because if you have continued to wait patiently for this story you are entailed to know about what has been going on with my life to keep me away.

As you know, I left on vacation around the end of April, I was away for no more than two weeks but on my return I found a lot of work to catch up with and I was very busy for quite a while. During the summer a couple of relatives died, one after the other, so I spent most of my free time with family, then my best friend’s dad died of cancer, so I then turned my attention to my friend. Then work was very heavy and I was doing overtime, so the few days I had off I was more interested in doing other things than writing, and to be honest, I quite forgot about the story for a time. Then a friend got pregnant and we spent a couple of months helping to get ready for the baby. And it wasn’t really until two or three months ago that I opened my old files and found the story and noticed that there were a few completed chapters that were never uploaded but were ready to be edited for posting. So I finished a couple of them and meant to uploading, but we started a project at work and I was doing overtime, and then a coworker go sick, so that meant that I was doing more hours still and I didn’t get the chance to uploading the chapters. Then DH came out so I decided that I was going to decided after reading the book if I was going to change the story or keep it as it is. This last weekend was meant to be time for editing, as I had more time off from work, but then something happened that made me forget about Harry Potter. I am a very private person, and if you read back to my stories or have read this profile before , or have had the chance to see my geocities page, I have not mentioned my state of residence, only that I live in the US. Well, I live in the state of Minnesota in the city of Minneapolis, and if you have seen the news this past week you know that a bridge collapsed in the heart of our city and there was some loss of life, and dozens of injured people, I wish I could say that if didn't touch me personally but my grief was in general support of my community, unfortunately a close friend and coworker lost his life that evening, needless to say, editing and rewriting this story was left for later. Things are getting easier now, I've had to be at work from the day that this incident occurred, this is the first day off I've had since last Wed, and I've been told by a friend, who happens to be a therapist, that I should do something I love to give my mind a break from all the sad thoughts and stress it has been under since it happened. So I thought about this story, as I haven't really started the rewrite of the story and had the two chapters prepared, I decided to post what has been already done, and leave the rewrited version until later.
