I love reading.

Like a lot of other people I like to imagine scenes with the characters of stories I read and occasionally even of things I watched. I discovered fanfiction just recently but I think it is great that there are a lot of people who are very creative and wonderful writers.

Most of the time I read Harry Potter fanfiction. Why? Because I was thoroughly disappointed with the last books. I like to quote a good friend of mine who brought me to fanfiction:

"When I read the books I thought: Arrrgh, how can you write this? And where is my review button?"

I am aware that there are glitches in all of the books, but I think during writing the last books Joanne K. Rowling was in a really difficult position. She knew that no matter what she writes she will disappoint a lot of the fans but she knew as well that no matter what she writes - everyone would buy the books.

A pet peeve of mine are stories that center around Hermione being an adopted pure-blood or something similar to this. It absolutely defies the notion that she is good because she earned it with a lot of hard work and it almost seems as if people want that blood status crap Draco Malfoy sprouts to be true.

Regarding Draco Malfoy. Yes, he is like this because of his childhood and education by his family. Nevertheless, he is an asshole.

But in general I like well written fics no matter which characters or pairing they are about. As I already stated I see a lot of talent around here. Intimidates the hell out of me. But I am absolutely sure that I will try writing something.
