I’m told this is not horribly uncommon, but it’s never happened to me before, and so I'm still suspicious of the reliability of my own sanity. I seem to have fallen in love with an entirely fictional character, and in such a weird, disturbing way, that I want Tami Taylor of Friday Night Lights to be my mother, counselor, big sister, wife, and lover all at once. So here I am, in the black-bottomed depths of my sad obsession, scouring this site for Tami Taylor fan fiction. I might even write some one day, but if I do, I vow it won't be mere wish fulfillment, but rather a paean to what is great about the spectacular Tami Taylor and to the marriage that is the most realistically positive in all of television history.
