Hi my name is Mrs Hudson. I have a son named Billy (he's twenty-three come June). I once had a terrier named Rocky, but now he's dead. (I asked one of my tenants to put it out because Rocky was too old to move anymore. It was the merciful thing to do. So he poisoned Rocky as an Experiment. It was good, though, because it helped the police to catch a murderer.) I live in England right now, but I used to live in the U.S. (when I was married). Don't ask about my husband, he was awful.

Anyway, I like to bake, with organic flour and things, which is nice because it sounds like lots of other people on the internet do too. (People are always offering each other cookies here on the internet, which is so friendly!! I promise to send you some if you send me your address - no I'm not a murderer but if youre not sure it can be a post office box address.)

I also like to knit. And read books. I also ride a bicycle because I think it's good for the environment.

I am here because I am fond of reading about Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. Even if it's fictional stories. (Sometimes the stories on this site are better written than on John's blog!!)

But I don't think they know that I write about them, though!! So please don't give them the link to this page or I might get a pile of laundry at my door in the morning. (And I'm NOT their housekeeper so they SHOULDN'T be giving me their laundry!!)

My favorite things to write are songfics because I used to sing in a band. (This was a long time ago, dears, so don't ask me about it!!)

Sorry if I keep you waiting for new posts and replies etc. because I have to use my neighbor Marie's computer. (I don't have one.)

EDIT DECEMBER 2010: Nevermind the boys got me a laptop! Fancy!! It does make their sword marks on my furniture more bearable.
