Preview: “You can’t run away” was the last thing she heard as she fell into the arms of her predator. She could no longer feel the floor, for she’d been picked up. The man hugged her close to his chest and whispered, “You mustn’t run away. It is for your own good. Now sleep…”

Melancholy

Preview: Wake up after getting nagged by my mother for the umpteenth time. Get dressed, eat, brush my teeth and hair, and leave. Get to school and relax. That used to be my morning routine before everyone disappeared. Three weeks ago it was a bloody pandemonium. Two weeks ago it was death. Just last week it was decay. I don’t know how or why it is that I’m the only survivor but, I just know I wish I wasn’t. Now I must struggle to survive, on my own. Normally one would think that after such events I would have become bitter and rebellious but, not me. I have always been positive and optimistic, and that’s how it’s going to stay.

A world of fiction

The clicking of a keyboard could be heard from a dark room, with only the computer screen as light. Their was a girl with long hazelnut hair and tropical green eyes, typing away at ideas for her new book. Her name was Mikan, Sakura Mikan. Sakura Mikan was a famous author who mostly wrote love stories only, without any other genre. But this time some type of crazy idea had gotten into her head bout writing something more than just a plain old love story. Mikan wanted to write something with an ‘ooh!’ there and an ‘ah!’ here and excitement everywhere!
Her book would have things about the Supernatural, romance, humor, drama, horror, suspense, sadness, and anything else you could think of. So, as she typed away into her own little world the words she typed were being made real somewhere else.

He finds me weeping

He shouts ugly words,

He says its my fault

That he suffers at work.

He slaps me and hits me

And yells at me more,

I finally get free

And I run for the door.

He's already locked it

And I start to bawl,

He takes me and throws me

Against the hard wall.

I fall to the floor

With my bones nearly broken,

And my daddy continues

With more bad words spoken.

"I'm sorry," I scream

But its now much too late

His face has been twisted

Into unimaginable hate.

The hurt and the pain

Again and again

Oh please God, have mercy!

Oh please let it end!

And he finally stops

And heads for the door,

While I lay there motionless

Sprawled on the floor.

Murdered me.

This is a true story. A girl died in 1933. A man buried her when she was still alive. The murder chanted, "Toma Sota balcu," as he buried her.
