You have arrived in the lair of an edgy teenage weeb who forgets their own birthday and wildly swings between mature and childlike. Let’s begin, Shall we?

Name: Not gonna say it here, but if I like you, I might tell you.

Gender: Male.

Age: I’ll give you a hint: I’m not over fifty.

Nationality: American.

Ethnicity: Korean and Japanese.

Hobbies: I don’t actually have many hobbies. I like to listen to music, play games, and generally do the things you would expect out of a world-weary fella. I would like to relearn how to play piano and also learn how to paint, but those are goals for the future.

Interests: As you could probably gather from the above, I’m interested in anime, games, music, and art. Specifically, I like slice-of-life comedy anime, RPG style games, and classical music. I’ll list some of my favorites of each down below. I also like nature, and one of my life goals is to go to a natural paradise anywhere in the world and to be free from humans for a little bit. Lastly, I really like yogurt and will often eat entire containers in one sitting.

Personal Weaknesses: I’m quick to give up on things that take a lot of effort. Couple that with my crippling misanthropy and laziness and you have a potato that doesn’t really do much of anything apart from what he has to. I’m also rather subconsciously judgmental, but I’m trying to get better on that one.

When it comes to writing, I have a difficult time portraying young or childish characters, as well as those who are happy and bubbly. It’s just not something I’m used to seeing, so I have no groundwork to base it off of. I also have difficulty portraying what locations look like, so I sometimes just forget to try and end up making readers guess where the plot is taking place. I’m working hardest towards solving the last issue, and I think I’m making decent progress.

Favorite Anime: I’ll just list the top three.

1. Violet Evergarden. What can I say about this that hasn’t already been said? It’s a beautiful story about war and loss and it’s the only anime to date that’s made me cry. I recommend it with the following warning: bring a box of tissues.
2. Sound!Euphonium. I wasn’t expecting much from this anime but I got an amazing drama that is unlike anything I’ve quite seen yet. I definitely recommend it.
3. Kiniro Mosaic. Much different from the previous two. It’s just a hilarious comedy anime that made me fall in love with the characters. Great for having an amazing time laughing your ass off.

Favorite Games: Same as above.

1. Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Jesus Christ, fellas. I was expecting this game to be hot garbage but it turned out to be an amazing game that has redefined my standards for RPGs. It definitely lives up to the legendary legacy left by the first game, in my opinion. Unfortunately, I haven’t played the first yet, but I’m sure it would take the top from the let’s plays I’ve watched.
2. Skyrim. A bit of a basic choice, but I’ve put more hours into this game than any other. I have fond memories of my childhood, coming home from school as fast as I could just to play Skyrim and see what I could discover.
3. Fallout 4. Not as good as the earlier games, from what I’ve heard (I’ve never actually played any other Fallout game), but this made me take a new look at the post-apocalypse genre and reevaluate what I look for in such games.

Favorite Songs: Since there’s so many to choose from, I’ll list five this time.

1. Rachmaninov Sympohony II Mov. III. Beginning things with a bit of a nerdy pick, but for good reason. This movement is just so...beautiful. It sounds almost like a goodbye, as you try and cling to your memories of the person you leave behind.
2. Brahms Symphony III Mov. III. Another nerdy pick. This one sounds like regret. It sounds like somebody reflecting on the things that he never had, and the things that he wished that he could have done.
3. Rachmaninov Piano Concerto II Mov. II. Another Rachmaninov piece, but this time a lot less tragic. This piece is tranquil and serene. It’s what I listen to to try and escape to a better place if I’m in a bad mood.
4. Barber Adagio for Strings. This piece is what I imagine sadness to sound like. If you want to feel human in nine minutes, I suggest this piece.
5. Chopin Prelude in E Minor. Probably the most melancholic piano piece I’ve ever heard. It was played at Chopin’s funeral, to give you an idea. I listen to this whenever I’m in that indescribable mood that drives me towards sad, thoughtful things.
