K8Malloy lives in a beautiful castle, with a moat, with an alligator named Al who swims in the moat - all of which is located in Northern California. She entered the realm of fanfiction & writing way back in the 90s, when internet was dial-up. There was a lengthy hiatus from writing, while she battled pressing real world challenges, but has happily returned to the fanfic writing sandbox.

K8 enjoys watching The Flash, Quantico, and Code Black. She is also an avid fan of The Food Network - her favorite shows being Cutthroat Kitchen and Chopped. She has been known to drag her mother to New York and San Francisco to see Darren Criss perform. Unfortunately, K8's mother still hasn't completely forgiven her for Hedwig sitting on her lap and licking the side of her face.

K8 works in the field of education, has two school-aged children, and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis about 20 years ago; all three of these things keep her from spending as much time writing as she would like.

An author update (3/6/18) : Over the past year my vision has been substantially and negatively impacted due to my MS. The doctors and I are working on slowing down the progression of my vision loss. I cannot read on computer screens (I'm typing this on my phone). It is my enduring hope that we'll figure out a solution that will allow me to do one of the things I love- write.
