My Unicorns.

I believe in unicorns. I believe they are there to help us gallop through the rough times with grace, to trot alongside us when we need a friend and sprinkle their magic dust on us whenever we need a little inspiration. I also believe they represent happiness, uniqueness, the impossible made possible; that's a lot to represent but I think they can handle it. So, why unicorns? They are magical, beautiful & they will never disappoint, never leave or hurt us because they are figments of one's imagination. In other words, I believe in imagination and everything it stands for. I'm not perfect, I'm new and my writing skills are a lil' rusty, but I hope I can peek into my imagination and, unicorns by my side, create some fields of greatness for both you and the unicorns to graze in.

Castle & Beckett. Their story captured my attention, and my heart, around 2 years ago. I have been pondering with the idea of recreating a piece of their story for some time now but was always afraid that glimpsing into their minds and searching their souls would ruin them; that I would ruin them. I'm still afraid to break them, but the season 4 finale gave me the strength I needed to take the leap. The raw emotion, the lies, the hurt...it reminded me that they are not out of touch, perfect characters. They are very real, very human and I decided I could write human, I can do real. So here's to hoping I can express the devastation of their pains, the ecstasy of their love and allow you to feel a part of something. Like I said, here's to 'hoping'...no guarantees, no perfect story...just a lot of mess and a lot of Caskett.
