Salutations everyone, You're friendly neighborhood "Peeping Thomasina" here. Don't worry, I'm joking on that bit. My pen name comes from the fact that for years I've circled the waters of the ocean of fandom and never really put my own two cents be it with reviews or with my own fan work. But that's changing as of now. I would love to beta other peoples work, but I have to post my own stuff, lol, that's only fair right? I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy fan, and I like to attempt to hunt down exceptional works relating to it. "Those Lacking Spines" by Organization VI made my little black heart swell with glee. Other video games I enjoy are Soul Calibur, Mario anything, KOF, old Crash Bandicoot, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Castlevania, yada yada yada; but I'm not about to go off writing fan-fics based off of them... I'm also borderline obsessed with Heroes, especially the first season...and Sylar. The second and third seasons have been a bit hit or miss with me, but I do have hope for the next season...even though I heard that Brian Fuller quit...again. Other shows/movies I like are True Blood, Mythbusters, Paranormal State, Moonlight, The Big Bang Theory, Documentaries, GunGrave, Fruits Basket, Saiyuki, American Psycho, Hellraiser 1&2, Dead Alive, Iron Man, MoonChild (that is a nugget of campy popstar goodness), Moulin Rouge, The Dark Knight, Ichi the Killer, Tropic Thunder, Howl's Moving Castle, Star Trek (2009), Hard Candy, The Descent, Evil Dead Trilogy, Finding Nemo, Sleeping Beauty, "Golden Age Disney Films," Edward Scissorhands, Shutter (the original), Velvet Goldmine, and oh lord there are waaaay too many. In all honesty, I'm up for a good read from any genre, be it Horror, Drama, Comedy, Crack!, SciFi, Western, Romance, even Yaoi/Yuri, as long as it's all done well and has a plot (well, except in the case of Crack!; as long as it's entertaining, I'm, well, entertained). On the literature end, I like Good Omens, the Nightwatch series, and Howl's Moving Castle. Next on my reading list are The Prince, Siddhartha, and the works of Carl Jung. So far, I have a Heroes idea in the works, and I'm doing supplemental pieces to a friend's Kingdom Hearts fic, plus a boat load of original works that I don't know if I'm going to post or not. Anyways, I'll add more as it comes to me. Ciao, and don't get caught with your pants down! |
