Follows Katniss and Peeta's life in District 12 after the Hunger Games. The ending of Catching Fire never happened- Peeta and Katniss were both allowed to live for fear of a rebellion starting. Katniss is beginning to realise the true extent of her feelings towards Peeta... but will they get their happily ever after with Gale so determined to win her heart?

In third person's POV, mostly Peeta's reflection after Mockingjay and the start of his new relationship with Katniss."He wondered how her reaction when she woke up would be. Something not involving a hand stroke or her well trained fist would be nice."
