My book is based off of three of L. Frank Baum's OZ works: The Wonderful Wizard of OZ, The Marvelous Land of OZ, and Ozma of OZ. I will be using characters and events from these books, weaving them into my own story. This book is NOT based off of the MGM Judy Garland movie The Wizard of OZ, but for some reason this website doesn't include L Frank Baum's OZ works so I was forced to select it under the movie heading. The book will probably be most appreciated by true, die-hard OZ fans that have read all (or most) of Baum's OZ series, as there is a lot of content that may not be understood/appreciated unless you know more about the world of OZ than what The Wonderful Wizard of OZ (and especially only the MGM Wizard of OZ) includes. Still, I will try to provide thorough enough background info. and explanations for those who have not read beyond the first OZ book so that it may still be enjoyed :) Although I don't believe this book would ever have a wide enough audience or be well-written enough to actually be published, I'm hoping there are other people out there who will enjoy basking in OZ nerdiness as much as myself.
