May 4. 1998 After the battle of Hogwarts. Harry Potter decides to leave the wizarding world, he goes to the goblins for help. Meanwhile in 1995, Harry Potter wakes in the second bedroom in the middle of another hellish summer in number 4 Privet drive. The two timelines collide by a book, some goblin magic and some interesting memories. AU from the summer between 4th and 5th year.

When Harry martyrs himself at the battle of Hogwarts, he is glad to be dead. Dumbledore has a problem with this so he sends Harry on an adventure along with seventeen year old versions of James Potter I and James Potter II. With random interludes from Sirius Black, Hermione Granger, and Scorpius Malfoy and a cunning scheme from Dumbledore, will Harry regain the will to live?

Who is James Potter? Well, isn't that the question of the century...or two centuries. Both may be big-headed pricks who love pranking, but maybe there's more behind them then just a pretty face. And maybe unexpected time travel wasn't as inconvenient as I thought it would be.

Later, when Fred II tosses a time turner to James II, it falls to the floor, sending them thirty years in the past. Apparently, there's a curse that follow the name 'James' everywhere...
