General "About Me" Stuff:

Hi! My name is Nazrindi (pronounced naz-(rhymes with jazz)-rin(rhymes with fin)-dee). Actually, that's just the nickname that I mainly use online, not my real name. :P I created it for a Utahraptor character of mine. Anyway, I'm pretty new to writing fanfiction myself, although I've been reading stories on here for a few years before I actually created an account.

Bakugan fandom related: (OLD thoughts when I was writing "Defying Darkness", which is now DISCONTINUED.)

Right now I'm still working on my one (as-of-yet) Bakugan fanfic, Defying Darkness, although there are a few more Bakugan stories I'm thinking of writing. Mostly concerning Masquerade, although I might write one about the villains in New Vestroia.

Speaking of Masquerade, you might be wondering why I like him so much. I'll be honest, it's mostly because I think he's good looking, but there's more to it than that. :P

For one, even though the series tells us how he was created, nothing is said about his back story. What was he like before he became Alice's alter ego? What was his past like? Those are questions I like to think about, and it seems that all too often some character's pasts are explained so well that there's no room left for the reader to imagine things, or create a past for the character in their own minds. In short, I like the fact that his past is mysterious. :)

Secondly, I like the interactions between him and Alice. This might just be my interpretation, but I think that Alice is the only person he really trusts, and it's interesting to think that as alter egos they might even be able to sense each others' feelings and whatnot.

Sadly, I'm not continuing Defying Darkness. Look at the notice at the bottom of my profile to see why. But thank you to all my awesome fans who left reviews and supported me through the writing process!

Fandom-wise, there are a lot of pairings I like, but I don't get obsessive over any one particular pairing. There are some pairings that I just can't stand, though. And...there are so many characters that I like that I'm not going to bother to list them all! Lol. Also, I would really appreciate critique on my stories, if you can, but please, no flames! Flames are immature and are of no help to authors at all. If you give me one, it will just be deleted and/or laughed at.

Notice 2-28-2013: It's been about 8 months since I last updated Defying Darkness...I've lost much of my original enthusiasm about the characters that led me to write it in the first place. Because of this, it's not going to be continued. Sorry to all my fans who are disappointed, but I think it's better to let it rest in peace than write a few half @$$ed chapters just to finish it. =T
