Thor AU: After a terrible car accident, Thor's kid brother Loki ends up blind and deaf, and Thor must deal with the consequences, and the new found responsibility of having to care for a child infinitely more vulnerable and helpless within the world than already he had been.

Sif has no problem with wanting the half-million to put Prince Loki Laufeyson out of someone else's way. Her problem is with other people trying to get him first. Or so she keeps telling herself. (Modern AU)

Set pre-Thor. Prompt fill for Round 17 of Norsekink: a well-respected, high-ranking citizen of Asgard notices Odin's treatment of Loki is neglectful and possibly abusive, and then after the lip-sewing incident finally decides to do something about it and calls out Odin and all of Asgard over it. Depicts the aftermath of that incident, but hopefully is not too graphic for readers.
