I've recently hopped back on ff.net, and made my way over to my old profile. Last updated 01-06-2010. Wow. To nobody's great surprise, my life, and tastes, have changed significantly in the almost 8 years since I wrote this. I'm leaving it though. Bit like a time capsule huh. Figure I'd address what's in the old profile, and how it's changed.

My Beta- I hope you're doing well out there in the world. We lost touch, but she was awesome. Wonder if she's married to the guy she was seeing back then.

Stories: I don't expect to continue any of them. I occasionally get reviews (very occasionally) asking to finish them, but my interest in those stories has waned, as has my amount of free time.

Final thoughts on the stories:

Uninterrupted: I liked this one the most. My beta and I totally redid the beginning, and had a significant outline for how the story would play out. Those notes are long gone, lost many computers ago before the cloud was a thing. I think Ah My Goddess recently wrapped up. I read the last few pages. Brought a tear to my eye.

Out of Sorts: I don't remember this one. I'm going to have to go re-read it really quick...Ok I can't re-read it, because I deleted it and was going to start over. Hm. Well that's gone forever I guess. I think it was going to be a trilogy.

Prophesy: This one was inspired by 'Matter of Honor', which is, in my opinion, the best Avatar fic out there. It was ambitious, but I could never nail down the plot. I just wanted to write a story with my fav ships in it I think. TophxAang, and EdWin. Still a fan of those.

NaruHina one: This one never got published, largely because I was super depressed at the time, and the whole writing style and motivations of the characters reflected that.

Favorite anime: That's a toughie now. Bleach and FMP have kinda fallen away from my regular re-watching. FMA brotherhood is the bomb, I don't think it was out when the old profile was written. Ah My Goddess is still nice, but I don't watch it. FLCL is still one of my tops. Excel Saga...funny, but I haven't watched it in many years, and probably won't ever again. Bebop is awesome as always. Trigun and Hellsing I also haven't seen in a long time. Avatar is the bomb. Skip Beat is tooooo daaaamn loooong. I gave up on it.

I'm adding Toradora, and My Hero Academia to the new favs list. Toradora just behind FLCL. Azumanga Daioh too. Just rewatched that with my wife.

Pairings: Man. I lived and died by these back in the day.

IchiRuki: Heh, this one lost in the end. Ah well. I don't read Bleach fics anymore, but I'd still likely prefer this one.

TophAang: Still prefer this one

EdWin: Brotherhood was the best for this one, even if it was tiny payoff at the end.

NaruHina: I chose correctly. Wew! Still like to read these on occasion.

RikkuTidus: I don't read much FFX fics anymore. I could probs go either Tikku or Tuna, but some of the old fics I liked don't really stand up much anymore.

New ships:

Harry/Fleur- Thanks to Heart and Soul. Was briefly HarryTonks before I stumbled on that fic, and now I'm ruined.

Raven/BB-Aw yeah. Read Jarec's stuff. The Joker's Wild first. Very good. M for a reason too.

Fav Games: Still oblivion, mainly the shivering isles now though. Game hasn't aged well. FO3. Still love it. Haven't played Guitar hero/rockband in years. Rocksmith is neat. Zelda. MMMM BotW MMMM. Majora's mask is still my fav. KOTOR is still the bomb, except maybe for Carth, the oldest teenager ever. Haven't done much Final Fantasy in a while. .Hack GU just had a re-release, and I've put over 100 hours in it already. Still love those games. Ezio is still best assassin. Haven't touched Dragon Age in a long time.

What's changed between early 2010 and late 2017?

I'm quite a bit older, conquered my depression. (I'm very lucky, and it appears to have been mainly caused by puberty. Just general mild anxiety now.) Met my wife later in 2010. Own a house now. That's pretty rad. Never thought that would happen, certainly not in my 20s anyway.

I never really completely dropped Fanfiction, though I did stop writing. I just lost the obsessive tendencies I used to have.

Dunno who'd read all this, but it was kinda fun to do. Wonder if I'll do it again in another 10 years or so. Hope you're making awesome furniture older me.

Also, my beta and I were talking, and it would probably be a good idea for me to get a few chapters ahead before starting to update again, that way if I fall into a writing slump I can still have some things to update with instead of making everyone wait for ages and ages until I update again.
