Oh? Are you here to learn more about the Hybrid of Fate debacle? Did a bunch of different accounts review your story only to say the opposite of whatever I said? Perhaps they also slandered and attacked me? Maybe you got a copy 'n' paste warning about a bunch of supposed bullies on the site, both in a Warhammer review and in a Hybrid PM. Perhaps they've even insulted YOU, combined with throwing a fit at you and/or making random accusations about you. Experienced any of this and want answers?

Well, you’re in the right place then. Because right here, I am creating a master outlet documenting as much as I can regarding the situation. I will be explaining what’s been going on, providing evidence to prove what Hybrid does, and responding to ”proof” that Hybrid tries to push to dismiss his accusers.

Let’s start this little master post by giving a brief rundown of what started this whole mess.

See, it all started on March 5th of 2018 when fellow user, Farla, had banned one of Hybrid’s sockpuppets from her forums over thinking racial slurs were funny. Ever since then, Hybrid began to spam the Pokemon category to get back at her, as well as anyone who was even remotely affiliated with her, including, and especially, me. Their tirade even continues to this day, and as you might be able to tell, it has gotten to its worst point yet, and that’s partly why I’m creating this segment.

HERE is where the trouble with Hybrid all began. Go to the second page and read from there. Plenty of their socks are present too. ;)

Now, before I move on to show the evidence proving Hybrid’s sockpuppets and what they do, I’m going to list the ID numbers (those are quicker and easier to block) of all the accounts so you can block them if you don’t wish to put up with them. If you do block them, they’ll still probably try to harass you in guest reviews, but at least those are removable, and therefore you can keep your review section free from their spam.

Update: Hybrid had created a couple more sockpuppets in the past few weeks to bypass the blocks on the others, so you may still have to deal with a couple signed-in spam reviews. The new socks (which are now in the list below) have mentionings of them being new.

The post includes evidence of Hybrid attacking people who reviewed stories in a similar manner to Farla. It includes evidence of Hybrid using sockpuppets. It includes examples of how desperate Hybrid is to get his way. It shows some of the drama that Hybrid likes to cause. A section of it links back to stories’ review sections featuring Hybrid getting upset at users who appreciate St’s reviews. It provides more than enough proof that Hybrid’s ”rebuttal” reviews are made merely to say the exact opposite of whatever St says. It has a bit of evidence that Hybrid throws fits at users who don’t do what he says, or if they take too long to respond. It has evidence that Hybrid is a pathological liar. It has evidence that Hybrid is a bully (which is funny since he claims that the people on here she’s trying to shut down are the bullies here). It shows some examples of lies that Hybrid makes up for seemingly no reason. And finally, it shows that Hybrid does not care one iota for the authors they ”warn”, nor do they care about their stories or what they want.

The masterpost I provided should be enough to convince you of what Hybrid really is, but now I wish to put forth my own input as well. I will start with the claim that Hybrid has sockpuppets. Hybrid doesn’t exactly do the best job at pretending to be another person.

Besides the evidence contained in St’s masterpost, one way to weed out a potential sock is by paying attention to the way they speak. This is how people had been able to so quickly identify ID number 11946348 as Hybrid’s newest sock.

Generally, reviews written by Hybrid and his socks contain a lot of typos, misspellings, and dropped commas. A lot of the time, they will start sentences with the words ”Actually” and ”Oh” (usually when countering other reviews) and they will usually drop the commas after these words.

Another testament to the use of socks is their easy-to-spot pattern of ”counter-reviewing” people like me, Farla, or St Elmo’s Fire. Usually, after one of us posts a review, Hybrid (or one of his socks) will post a review purely in response to ours saying merely the opposite of everything we said. This will almost always happen within an hour or so after we post our reviews. And if another one of us reviews after that, another sock will follow up, again within an hour or two. And the pattern will continue nonstop until our side stops posting reviews. If Hybrid uses too many socks, he will switch over to guest reviews.

Lately, more and more people have been getting sick of Hybrid’s drama and have left reviews on their stories telling then to quit their crap. Unfortunately, they still continue to do it.

As you can probably tell, one would need to have a lot of time on their hands to be able to stalk review sections like this. And yes, Hybrid does stalk and monitor review sections. Hybrid is watching you, hehehe

Another thing you might notice is that whenever Hybrid counter-reviews, he uses the exact same bracket-style quoting, regardless of which account he’s using. The links just above shows this pretty well also.

Yet another thing in common between the accounts is the claims they like to make about others, especially me. Regardless of which account is posting, they’ll make blind claims such as:

I am a troll,

I am a bully,

I am angry about a review Hybrid gave me,

I was told by the admins to stop pushing the sockpuppet claim, (I wouldn’t push the claim if it wasn’t true).

It’s rather interesting how there are all these accounts that are all making the same exact (counter)claims. Not to mention that usually once one account jumps on the bandwagon for something, such as a statement about me, all the other accounts claimed as sockpuppets are in that same wagon immediately.

It’s not over yet. Another piece of evidence is that somehow, select non-Hybrid accounts seem to somehow know about Hybrid’s PMing of other authors warning about us ”bullies”. Don’t you agree that it’s just a leeeeetle suspicious that all these users somehow know about the PMs Hybrid is sending to people?

Three, (It’s not directly made known here that the ”other users” here know about Hybrid’s PM warnings, but we have Warhammer4life calling the author a liar. This suggests that this ”user” somehow knew that the author here had responded to Hybrid’s warnings, but did not actually do what he said.)

Four, (Both ”users” who just so happen to know of the author being warned via PMs make the same mistake of spelling ”pms” as ”old”)

Six, (This is a good one because Hybrid really pushes Stylepoints Zero being older as proof that they aren’t the same. But Stylepoints still somehow seems to know about Hybrid’s PMs.

Eight, This probably won't be on the site long, but in it, TreeofFun knows about Hybrid's PMing. And more noteworthy, the way he says that kinda makes him look literally like Hybrid reviewing a second time to reinforce his first post.

Nine, Wow, Stylepoints really makes it obvious that he knows about Hybrid's PMs.

Another testament to the fact that Hybrid uses sockpuppets is the fact that occasionally, Hybrid forgets which account he's using. Compare the two reviews below from Warhammer4life and Hybrid of Fate. (Update: Now Fire4Heaven posted Warhammer's review, so I don't even know when the case is Hybrid forgetting which account he's using, or not.) Anyway...

See? All three reviews from these accounts are exactly the same. Usually, it's Warhammer who will post that review, but there are those rare occurrences where one of the other accounts will post it instead. (Fun fact: In the case of Hybrid and Warhammer, the timing of these reviews is less than an hour apart.)

Next, let’s talk about some of the things Hybrid does to authors. The first thing Hybrid does when a new author posts a story is try to ”warn” them about a ton of ”bullies” plaguing the site. The message looks like this:

Hey, a bit of advice: there are eleven bullies and harassers running around the FanFiction community

The eleven of them are basically jerks, or trolls, depending on who you ask.
They basically go around nitpicking what they don't like and tend to start petty nattering and arguments.
They say things about:
• Using Arceus as Poke God.
• Not using Pokemon in lower case (it agreed they are both proper and common nouns).
• calling you a j* for treating Pokemon as "slaves" (basically they dismissed Gen 5).
• consider the world tap as a completely necessary.
• demand you use horizon lines in an author note despite most using a different style.
• and generally telling you to use the beta readers who think like them.
• Telling you lies to trick you into sabotaging your stories and profile pages.
• Being an actual fascist (Espeon King)
• And quite a bit more nonsense… including claim sockpuppets when its false. Go to my friend Warhammmer4life for more details.

It's best to block them before they become a problem for you.

Also if they talk about alts, or as they call it "sockpuppets" be aware they have admitted to doing it in order themselves. The reason being to incite conflict on users review sections.

Hybrid will expect the users they warn to block the ”bullies” right away. They will go to the lengths of harassment in both PMs and reviews if you don’t respond right away. Naturally, I can’t post any PMs that others may have received, but Hybrid has not been afraid to remind authors in their review sections that they have PMed them. Here are some examples:

Also, if you refuse to do what Hybrid says, or your ”not quick enough” and Farla reviews your story, he will rage and throw a fit at you. This part is going to be fun and it will most likely grow over time...

He might assume you’re purposefully causing drama

He might call you an idiot, assume you’re trying to ”sell your credibility”, spam with a lot of his socks, and ask for your excuse. All at once!

He might bash your story after it’s reviewed

He might call you stupid

He might spam your story with many socks because why not

He might say you are ”ego-centered”, that you’re ”feeding” Farla, that you have no self-respect, and congratulate (reminder that Hybrid and his sockpuppets make a lot of spelling errors) you on becoming another ”COW TO A SLAUGHTER”. All at once!

He might call you an idiot who’s “selling off” to Farla

He might call you lazy and/or have claimed to laugh at you

What even is this supposed to be?!

He might say you’re causing drama just by writing a Pokemon story

He might call you “terrible” and hope you feel regret

He might say you’ve been reduced to “irreverent garbage”

He might say that everyone will hate you if Farla reviews, and perhaps tell you to screw off after she does

He might say that no one will read your story and that you should be banned from the site

He might curse you while calling you a newbie (multiple times at once), call you an idiot, ask why you can’t choose some other fandom to ”spam”, and demand for you to delete your story All at once!

He might assume that you are "feeding the trolls", when you allow me to review.

He might call you a liar, multiple times with multiple socks, say your story is bad, multiple times with multiple socks, wonder if your story is an April Fools joke, and throw a fit over a PRAISING review, All at once!

He might call you "troll bait", say that no one wants you, make absolutely no effort in really pretending to be another person, say your story is bland, and say you don't deserve his review, All at once!

He might claim that there's a reason people go out of their way to earn then (Lol wtf does that mean?!)

He might call you a newbie, say that when you let a "troll" review, you get hate, and demand you to block these "trolls" or get off the section. All at once!

He might push the idea that if you acknowledge St's review, you'll become at best a pariah and at worst someone everyone hates.

He might assume that by letting St. review, that you want to be reduced to a no-name parasite.

Now this is TOTALLY insane!

Alright, now I think we should move on to addressing the ”proof” that Hybrid is pushing against the accusations made against him. Now I will admit, a few of the things Hybrid has pushed are kinda creative, but they can be responded to. Let’s begin.

”Two of the supposed sockpuppets are older than Hybrid.”

Farla claims Hybrid is the ”main account”. I do too because it is the most active account. Main account doesn’t necessarily mean first account created. One of these two ”older” accounts is ”Stylepoints Zero”, but if you compare this ”user’s” behavior to Hybrid, you can spot the similarities. Like I said before, Hybrid does a bad job at trying to appear as someone else; all of the socks behave in the same way.

”Hybrid has a link on his profile showing St Elmo’s Fire getting banned by the admins.”

Ah, but as you might already know, St is still on the site. What’s interesting though is that the account ”Final Fight 45” (who was one of Hybrid's alts) just so happened to get removed the very same day St was supposedly banned. St gives a potential explanation on his masterpost (which I have a link to further up). I know that the site admins are lazy, but if it really was meant for St to be banned, surely he actually would be for real by now. Yeah, it seems that the whole thing is clearly staged.

Hybrid also claims that link to be proof that he doesn’t use sockpuppets. How? Because the screenshot shows St listing the names of the sockpuppets and that he was supposedly banned?

Plus, this exact same ”evidence” just so happens to also be posted on Warhammer4life’s profile. Ummm, why? If Hybrid and Warhammer aren’t the same person, why do they BOTH have access to Hybrid’s email account? Seems a little suspicious if you ask me.

Really, you just need to spend a little time on St’s masterpost to get all the proof you need that Hybrid does indeed use sockpuppets.

”Warhammer4life made a video showing himself, along with Fire4Heaven.”

Warhammer SAYS that the other person is Fire4Heaven. Watching the video with a critical eye and mind, we can first see that whoever that other person was (he was certainly not Fire4Heaven), clearly didn’t want to be recorded. Furthermore, I highly doubt he even knew what was going on; there’s no reason to believe that he did.

Also, if he really was Fire4Heaven, why couldn’t he just say that? It would make the video a bit more convincing. Nope. All the video shows is Hybrid videotaping himself, along with some other person who apparently lives with him (without his consent) and claiming that person to be Fire4Heaven. Hybrid honestly does better at doxxing people than he does at covering up his lies.

”Warhammer has written a story.”

And? All accounts, whether or not their the only account created by someone, or the twentieth, are allowed to have stories posted on them after they are twelve hours old. It’s that simple.
