Expansion of a scene in S3 Ep. 7, kind of a loaded vignette. A look into Athos's woes and Aramis's struggle for finding his place among his brothers. Mostly written from Aramis' perspective, focusing on him and Athos, with a nice chunk of Porthos and a pinch of d'Artagnan thrown in.

The return to Pinon is both better and worse than any of them could ever have expected. It is a good job that they have their brotherhood to see them through. A series of missing scenes for Season 2 Episode 5 "The Return"

Athos tries to deal with the repercussions of Anne's reappearance in his life, whilst his brothers try to convince him he is a good man, aka the Milady Arc.. Spoilers for the entire season, not a romance, but a tale of missing scenes, angst, hurt/comfort, humour and brotherly love as a route to eventual healing. .

"Great, just what he needed, something else trying to off the prat on the way home." Merlin, Arthur, a very large spot of prison-cell-shaped trouble, and a lot to work out. Bromance, no slash, and lots of whump.
