![]() Author has written 1 story for Legend of Zelda. My name is Tommy and I am an avid writer. I have been writing Zelda fan-fictions for about 4 years (2001-2005) and haven't really had the chance to actually publish it. Haha no, I don't plan on actually publishing and making a profit on work that has already been copyrighted and all that good stuff. I just haven't had a chance to submit my work anywhere. When I began writing, I had no clue this genre was called fan-fiction. Being as naive as I was at the time (13 years old) I merely wanted to write my own Zelda storyline, submit it to Nintendo and have it turned into a game. I wonder how many others tried the same! I've had my e-mail blocked from them because I asked them on numerous occasions to turn my first 40-page "manuscript" into a video game (more specifically, replace Wind Waker). I felt so strongly about the Zelda Spaceworld 2000 trailer and pure malice towards the Zelda Spaceworld 2001 trailer, and that is what drove me to write 6 Zelda fan-fictions. But let's be honest; Wind Waker rocked. I want to gain feedback on my work and where and how I can improve. Please note that I understand that the sequels (1-3 and in progress of uploading) are very immature and lack any form of writing ability. To be quite honest, I never went back to edit my work. To me, if the story stops, then the characters die. So, and being VERY honest, after writing the first story, I IMMEDIATELY went on to write the second, the third and so on until the sixth. A virus killed the seventh... I just realized how selfish I was to say this: "But enough of that, I can understand if 1-3 are dreadfully boring and dull and lack any creativity. However, like any series of books, whether it's a trilogy or saga, one needs to read the first book to understand the second." Who am I to ask you, the reader, to read and share my failures? Instead, I am doing a massive edit on the stories and doing this as fast as I can. I thought of just posting the entire story online as it is, but that's not fair to the readers or myself. Thus, I will make it my prior effort (when free!) to get the six fanfics up. Thank you reading this, White Angel |
