My rhymes are abysmal, but my piano the shizzle, my clumsiness unmatched, my humor laughable. I keep my heart open, but zip all my bags, throw my arms wide, but hold my friends tight. ~ Musings While Sipping Tea at 3AM, so don't take this too seriously ~ A vague description of my paranoid self: Currently residing in the States, but I have lived in Sydney, Australia and Shanghai, China. I'm old enough to know better than to jump off a cliff, but young enough to do it anyway (provided there are no sharp rocks waiting for me). I play classical piano quite seriously and swim. My favorite things to do in my spare time are to write, to play silly computer games, to brag about my perfect-pitch, to escape the clutches of my best friend's hyperactive sister, to run around screaming "the GRAMMAR NAZIS ARE COMING!" and to read in a secluded alcove of my favorite bookstore, curled up with delicious snacks. A few years ago my friend introduced me to all things anime, manga, J-music, and K-pop; I haven't stopped since. This is my little way of, well, giving back whatever I can. Admittedly, I am quite busy with real life and such; therefore, if I do ever muster up the drive to actually write something between my all-nighters, tea breaks, and Pocky-runs, my story may suffer from procrastination and/or late updates D': Favorite songs at the moment (and I am quite the fickle lady): Heaven (Ailee), Why Did I Fall in Love with You (DBSK), Off to the Races/Born to Die/Video Games (Lana del Rey), The Sixth Station (Joe Hisaishi), Strobe (deadmau5), Love Girl (CNBlue), After Dark (AKFG), On Love, in Sadness (Jason Mraz) Guilty-pleasure songs/artists: anything by LMFAO, No Love (Eminem), Dirty Talk (Wynter Gordon), Starstrukk (30H3) I am quite devoted to Fullmetal Alchemist; it's been quite an obsession of mine since 2007-ish. I can say for sure that I love all the characters (yes, even you, Kimbley), but my favorites would have to be Ed and Al (because it would be nothing short of sacrilege if I didn't, right?) Roy, Riza, Havoc, and Maes and his family. I mainly ship Roy/Riza and Roy/Ed. Eh, could add more, but sometimes my choices are spur-of-the-moment whims. I welcome all recommendations, whether they may be for potential stories or for general writing tips. |
