Author has written 3 stories for Princess Bride, and Sherlock.

Hello, everybody!

I used to have a profile a long time ago...my name was wingless205. Sorry to everyone who kept up with those stories! I haven't been on that profile for 3 years and have subsequently forgotten all information assotiated with it, so I won't be continuing any of them. Sorry!

Besides, my interests have changed drastically in 3 years, and now I'm deeply entrenched in a Sherlock Holmes obsession. I watched the BBC version a little while ago and was instantly hooked! Don't even get me started on how cute Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are!

Just a little about me...

I'm a big reader. My favorite genre is fantasy, especially in the traditions of J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis. I also like mystery, if it's well plotted. I mostly despise romance, but I like romantic elements inside of an adventure story. I'm quite picky about romance; I prefer it more along the lines of Tangled or Jim and Pam in The Office as opposed to crap like Twilight.

I hate vampires with a passion. Oh, yes, I used to like them until I read Twilight, which ruined my view of them forever. And then the tons of copycat vampire romances come flooding into the bookstores, which made me hate all things vampire even more. Vampires are so overdone, it's not even cool. Let me rephrase that: nice vampires are so overdone it's not even cool. The only vampire I like is an evil one that shrivels in the sunlight and can be dispatched by a well-placed stake, not sparkly invincible ones. For everyone who agrees with me whole-heartedly, Emmanuel's Veins is a really good book.

I'm a fan of action movies. I love the running and the shooting and the car chases and the explosions, but I hate it when a director is so focused on the aforementioned elements that they forget to develop a good plot. That gets on my nerves. I'm a writer, so plot is very important to me.

I really love writing, and I hope to write my own book someday, so you can call this practice for the future. I'll do my best to keep my stories clean(scouts honor!), no sex or slash or dirty language. I hope you can always count on me for that.

To God be the glory!

Favorite Books: Cry of the Icemark, by Stuart Hill; Inkdeath, by Cornelia Funke; Emmanuel's Vein's, by Ted Dekker; Dragonfire, by Donita K. Paul; The Oath, by Frank Peretti; When the Wind Blows, by James Patterson; The Hobbit, by J.R.R.Tolkien; The Horse and His Boy, by C. S. Lewis

Favorite Movies: Tangled, WALL-E, The Matrix(#1 only!), Lady in the Water

Favorite TV Shows: Sherlock, Fringe, Castle, Chuck, The Office, Doctor Who

Where have all the children gone? Sequel to "New Beginnings", but can be read as a standalone piece. Not slash. Rated T for Terrifying. NB: I don't intend to finish this because the way the plot was going to go I planned this before S2 is wayy too similar to the Hounds of Baskerville episode in S2. Great minds think alike?
