Picks up sometime between the Victory Tour and the Quarter Quell. Katniss and Gale remain secretly involved despite Snow's threats. However, when Katniss discovers she is pregnant, the stakes grow even higher. Follows the basic storyline of the novels, but obviously with some major differences.

This is an Everlark story told from the POV of a very angsty Gale. I got the idea after watching Mockingjay Part 1.

He's a hybrid, a werewolf, a vampire, a killer, manipulator, liar, and a father. Klaus can deal with being evil, but showing the affection of a father, especially when his own was out for his blood is difficult. He's had to make choices, choices that place him out of his comfort zone. Yet when it comes to the mother of his child, those choices seem worth it.

First loves, losses, heartbreak, hope, angst - being part of the Original Family is a tumultuous journey at best. A series of mostly unrelated one-shots following multiple pairings as the muse takes me. Updated regularly as inspiration flows. Rating sits at T for now; but may change in the future.
