![]() Author has written 1 story for Robin Hood BBC. AUTHER ON WRITING LEAVE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE (But Do Not Fear. I Shall Return With A Vengance! I am mainly focused on my Blog right now, so feel free to check it out!) My Quotes: "I think outside the box, because it's too dark inside the box for my mind to think." "Don't walk a mile in nobody's shoes; it hurts." My Jokes: Q: What did the vampire-slayer say to the vampire before he killed him? A: Your life is at stake. 1: Knock, knock. 2: Who's there? 1: Doctor. 2: Doctor who? 1: Exactly! FictionPress: http://www.fictionpress.com/~hausvonnickel Feel free to check them out! About Me: Hi, my name is Katrina (but everyone on here just calls me Nickel). I'm an 18 year old girl living in Canada. And the problem with that is I have this obsession with anything done by the BBC and it's sometimes hard to get ahold of it here. About half of what comes out of my mouth when I speak is quotes from movies, tv shows, and books. (Ya I'm more than a little crazy). I'm a hopeless romantic. And I'm a Christian with strong beliefs and oppinions, along with a phalinx of logical reasons to back them up. :P I read and love lots of books. I usually read historical fiction and scifi/fantasy. My top 3 favs are: Ella Enchanted ~Gail Carson Levine, Watership Down ~Richard Adams, and Lord of the Flies ~William Golding (in that order). Other favourite authors are: Ann Rinaldi, Stephen R. Lawhead, J.R.R. Tolkien, John Flanagan, Kit Pearson, Jane Austen, Anne Bronte, Sir Walter Scott, and...and...that's all I can think up so far off the top of my head...but to be sure there are many more!! And I'm Completely Obsessed With BBC's Robin Hood!! And since Allan A Dale is my favorite character most of my Robin Hood fanfiction will be about him. (sorry to all the Will, Guy, Much, Robin, etc. fans out there...but there will be plenty of them as well in the stories, and I'll try to make it so that all of them have 'happy endings' as well). And because I love Marian so much and hate that they killed her off I'll try to keep her in all my stories...including season 3's!! I am also I HUGE Trekky! And love anything that's Star Trek! Ironically I don't have any star trek fics written...yet :D Hope to have an Enterprise or Voyager one up soon...got some good ideas floating around in my head. Some other obsessions, other than Robin Hood and Star Trek include: Horatio Hornblower, Merlin, Rangers Apprentice, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Primeval, Dollhouse, Firefly, Supernatural, Castle, Adam-12, Doctor Who, anything Marvel (The Avengers, Thor, Spiderman, etc) and DC (Justice League, Batman, Young Justice, Teen Titans, etc), The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, etc. News/Updates: April 1st, 2010 -Updated The Wrong Kind of Outlaw - Prologue. My Stories: So far I've got only one Robin Hood story started: The Wrong Kind Of Outlaw When the outlaws rescue a girl in the forest they never expect anything to come of it. She has a past riddled with betrayals, mistrust, neglect. Can she escape it and start a new life in Nottingham or will her past catch up and ruin her future? Allan/OC Setting: 3rd season. A little taste of what's to come: Robin Hood: The Queen's Illigit (Or something like that, not sure on the title yet) Robin and the gang meet a girl who they discover to be the illegitimate daughter of Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine, Queen of England and France. Vaisey and the Cat What if the Sheriff of Nottingham had a pet cat? The seasons told from cat's point of view! Rangers Apprentice: Not Titled Yet A one-shot of when Gilan becomes apprenticed to Halt. Horatio Hornblower: The Life and Adventures of 'Not Named Yet' -A Ships Cat The ships cat on the Justinian takes a liking to Horatio Hornblower after his first day on board, and when Horatio is transfered to the Indefatigable he is followed by the cat who comes with him on all his adventures...from sailing on the Indy to rotting in a Spanish prison, from facing a dangerous mutiny to stopping the French invasion of England! Random, Fun, Profily Stuffs: Weird is good, strange is bad, odd is when you don't know what to call someone. Weird is the same as different, which is the same as unique. Therefore, weird is good. If you're weird and proud of it, copy this into your profile. Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree. If Allan A Dale was your fave character (or one of them) from Robin Hood BBC, and refuse to even contemplate life (and the show) without him, copy and paste this into your profile. Down with BBC producers! My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone The difficulty is not so great as to die for a friend, as to find a friend worth dying for. You're just jealouse because the voices are talking to me My imaginary friend thinks you have some serious problems |
