Damon makes a choice to desiccate himself inside of a coffin for the next 60 years and make everyone believe that it's because he is waiting on Elena. But the true reason is that he had fallen in love with Bonnie and doesn't know how to deal with his feelings for her. He is awakened 3 years later with the news that Bonnie is in danger and now must do what he can to save her.

It's back but with some changes! "I never thought this would happen to me, that I would begin to crave the one thing nature said I couldn't have, that I shouldn't want, but he's all I think about. What is a witch to do?" That was just one question Bonnie Bennett asked herself, and stared at the only vampire in the world who could supply the answer.

Damon doesn't handle Bonnie not making it back to the present very well. How will things change when she makes it home? Follows S6 Storyline. No longer a One-Shot.
