 Author has written 44 stories for CSI: New York. I love fanfiction.net. It has been a favorited webpage since I was in high school...over 10 years! I have read a ton of fanfiction from several different fandoms. I love to read and I love to read great stories with characters I love. I've always wanted to be able to find the courage to post a story and last year I did. I am madly, deeply, truly in love with Danny & Lindsay from CSI:NY and have written several stories about them. I have been overwhelmed by the welcome I've received and have made some great friends along the way. I am always reading and looking for great fanfiction and I've found it here. I have been a shipper since I first watched Star Trek TNG and thought that Riker and Troi were meant to be together. My adolescent heart was pulled into their world and I read every Star Trek book available. Then I moved to Sliders (Quinn/Wade), then X-Files (Mulder/Scully), then Star Trek Voyager (Tom/B'Elanna), then JAG (Harm/Mac), then Farscape (John/Aeryn), then ER (Luka/Abby), then...well trust me, the list goes on and on. Again, currently CSI:NY (Danny/Lindsay). My point is that I have spent a lot of time reading fanfic, and I respect those who take the time to post good, well written stories. I don't like to plead for reviews so I don't include that in any of my stories, but please know that I love getting them. I love to hear what some one has to say about a story I've posted. I have been inspired by reviews in the past and some times--based on an observation, hope or suggestion from a reader--a story takes a turn I never thought it would, but that was better than what I originally planned. I also have a busy real life (family, work, school, etc.) and I can get pretty bogged down, so it is always nice to get a little encouragement. More than once I've updated a story because a kind reader took the time to read and review, and gave me the wonderful kick in the booty I needed to find the time to sit and write. I adore writing. I wish to be better and to improve in my skill, so if a reader is willing to help me with that by leaving a review, I greatly appreciate it. So that is a little about me and my love for the fanfic world. Thank you to those who have been so kind to me and to those who have done a wonderful job writing stories that pull me in! |
