I am not the image you see

I am not my name

I am not my age

I am not my ethnicity

I am not where I was born and raised

I am. . .
An aunt to four beautiful little boys,
And to a beautiful baby girl.
A baby sister to 1 brother and 1 sister and a big sister to 1.
A daughter,
but more relevantly, the Daughter of the one almighty, omnipotent God.

I am a woman in transition, in search of her real self.

I am a writer, so I will never stop writing.
I am an artist, so I will never stop creating.
I am a student of life, so I will never stop learning and experiencing.
I am a child of God, so I will never stop being blessed and cursed.

In my reality, I am forced to live in a box, do within my means and to live life by “societies” rules. Thus in my imagination, I am like the wildflowers; free and full of life. Thus why writing is so important to me, I have the ability to express myself and fullfill my inner most desires.

Art is my freedom to be the real and true me.

I am not what you think of me.

I am who I say I am. . .
