[Pre-02 AU] The Ken who lands on the floor of his room is barely breathing. The Ken in the emergency room doesn't know where he is, but where he was. Osamu puts the big bad world on hold, and tries to find out the truth. However, someone really doesn't want him to know.

A Chosen's work is never done. With the rise of viruses within the digital world, Daisuke, Miyako, Iori and Ken must maintain order and eradicate the viral infections. When Ken is injured by an infected Digimon, it becomes a race against time to find the fix for the thing that ails him. [Set Pre "Digimon Adventure: Tri", Daiken, one-sided Miyaken]

Daisuke thinks nothing of it when Takeru shows up at his house one day. It's when he shows up repeatedly after that that it becomes a cause for concern. Part of the Waver universe.

Post-season 02. Ken keeps seeing Oikawa's butterflies everywhere he goes. TK and Ken think about how death might work, for humans who have been digitized, and Ken keeps thinking. He's not sure, exactly, why everyone makes such a fuss about it after. Not at first.

[AT] A speeding car crashes into a pole. An innocent bystander who should have died is spared. Two brothers reconcile - but while that unhappy story looks happier, the Dark Seed is still planted and an evil force is still looking for a way back. That window of opportunity has closed - and so he'll smash a hole through the wall instead.

After the fall of the Digimon Kaiser, Daisuke has reasons to believe Ken should join the Chosen Children. However, he soon realises it is not only Ken who is met with doubt, but Daisuke himself. The quality of his leadership is put to the test. In the meanwhile, a mysterious woman is after Ken, and Daisuke is determined to save him at the risk of his own life... and his leadership.

Never before, Ken had told anybody the full story of what happened on the day of his brother's accident.

Ken always seems to lose more than he gains. So when someone stimulates his seeds of doubt, he think he's lost his last link to humanity. In darkness, will Osamu's ghost show him the truth and bring him back?
