Alec is the first of the Lightwoods to go to college. He spends most of his first semester studying for his classes, hanging out with Maia, and crushing on his hot roommate. But, who could blame him?

In which Magnus and Alec live across the hall from each other.

"You've never been married, have you?" Alec stated more than asked, cutting Magnus's thoughts short. "I've never even been engaged," Magnus responded with a shrug as he turned towards the kitchen, "what would you like to eat? I'll order something, and then we can chat."

Alec Lightwood finds himself receiving unwanted attention from a certain customer, Magnus Bane, who seems determined to get his phone number. "You don't give up, do you?" "Like I said, I'm a sucker for blue eyes." Human/Coffee Shop AU

"Magnus had said warlocks were avaricious, possessive beings. Well, Alec wasn't a warlock, but he'd be damned if he let anyone touch the best thing that had ever happened to him." The one where warlocks are being murdered, Magnus is a target, and Alec really isn't supposed to be getting involved (but does anyway).

One hundred and fifty one-sentence Magnus/Alec fics - everything from angst to crack to pure fluff. "I don't think writing 'Property of Magnus Bane' on the back of my jeans is the 'subtle sign of possession' you were looking for."

Magnus is attractively arrogant. Alec is horrendously sick for two days, but he gets to be right for once, so it's worth it. "We should call it a holiday. 'The Day Alec Was Right and Magnus Was Wrong'."

Sequel to Payment. When Magnus told him "In nine or ten years, come find me and then we'll talk," he probably hadn't meant "Nearly get yourself killed by a Greater Demon so I have to heal you again." Alec was better at this when he was nine.

AU/AH. Alec meets a boy in Central Park, and decides to let him into his castle. What he didn't know was that he was also letting him into his heart. Magnus thought he made a friend that day, but he didn't know how hard he'd have to fight to keep him.

Magnus is all about color. Alec isn't, though not for lack of trying. "If you ever get fired from being High Warlock, you'll have a lucrative career as the paint person in a Home Depot or something."

"There were some experiences that just couldn't be bought, and being shyly hit on by a drowsy nine-year-old was one of them." Because I am in love with the concept of Magnus and Alec meeting long before the party.
