Hey, So I am just a girl who reads for fun (nerdy I know) and has not yet considered writing on here yet (but still might). I love just writing when I get inspiration or when I just think of something. When I write or read, I feel like I am actually in a new world full of new adventures waiting to happen. The stories that I love to read always either have to do with something that I personally love or has romance in it. I guess I will give you a sample of something that I have always thought of writing about, but never have until now.

Tick..Tick..Tick. The quiet beat of the second hand thrums through my mind as I sit and blankly stare at the paper in front of me. I knew I should have studied these accursed algorithms more, but I just could not stay interested no matter how hard I tried to concentrate. Scraping from erasers echo throughout the classroom and gentle taps of a foot here and there match the beat of the clock every now and then. My sigh comes out with a huff releasing some aggravation, but much more still sits within me begging to be released. A click from the doorknob, gets twenty heads to turn up and analyze who is walking into this trap I have been in for the last forty minutes. I finally look up to see who has disrupted my train of thought to catch my breath at the sight of him. Two eyes that look like pools into the ocean bore into my own and I can only find them to radiate with mystery. He turns after a moment only leaving my gaze with a faint smile to give a note to the teacher who has been reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower this whole time. Her mouth moves as she quickly scans over the note before she stands, getting everyone's' attention with the scraping from her rusty chair against the floor. I realized he had all of the girls within class enticed and I found myself observing him. He was tall with broad shoulders that went well with his stature. His blue eyes I gazed into earlier complimented his short blonde hair that shined when the light hit it the right way. The stranger looked right at me, catching my stare and making me turn away quickly with a flush in my cheeks.

"Class, looks like we have a new student. This is Kale and he came all the way from Britain to be with us." She announced before turning to give the kid instructions. "Right now we are taking a test and the bell is about to ring for class to end, so all you will simply have to do today is start to fill out this worksheet that will tell me how far along you are in certain subjects. Bring it back to me tomorrow and we will go from there." She handed him the paper after sitting back down at her bulky desk.

Kale walked over to sit in the only seat open, which just happened to be the one next to mine. His brawny figure drew my attention like a moth to a flame. The bell rung soon after he sat down and the whole class jumped up to turn their test in and retreat to another draining course. A few girls had actually tried to talk to him, but he seemed to just turn them away so they left with the crowd. Usually I was the last one to leave as I was never in a hurry to go to a place to sit and do absolutely nothing. As I stood up and looked over to see if Kale was still there, I found him to be already staring back at me.

I decided after a moment to give him a chance and be polite. "Hi, I'm Chance. Welcome, I guess, although I would not really consider this place all that warm and welcoming." I said as he seemed to be observing me the way I was observing him earlier.

Kale let out a little chuckle and nodded before lifting his backpack up and onto his shoulders. "Well it's the thought that counts I guess." His thick British accent was actually cute and made me smile. Kale gave a shrug and filled the silence that continued. "I don't know if it is too much to ask, but would you mind showing me to my next class?" He looked down at a blue paper that I could only assume to be a schedule before continuing," I have Chemistry with Mrs. Pellare."

I gave him a nod, astounded that he had turned down some of the most popular girls in school, but had actually asked me to show him to his next course. "Yeah, sure. That is actually my next class." I lifted my own backpack and the two of us headed on our way. Little did I know that, that moment was the beginning of everything.

Hope you liked that. It was just a little something I thought of and liked. I don't really have much to left to say except why bother with reality when there is imagination?
