Profile Last Updated: May 3, 2005 Fonts adjusted last on June 20, 2006 If you're reading this, skip down to the line labeled:-- VERY IMPORTANT!. Even if only one person learned from that topic makes this bio worth writing. I have Very thick brown hair. any girl would kill for hair this thick, but am I a girl? No. an even 6 feet tall, 170 pounds. Favs: ... like you care. The Teen Titans category has become so completely filled with useless pieces of crap that's I've almost completely stopped reading fics in TT. These Black Eyes is still good, though :) All-time greatest Authors: Post, Lord Belgarion and Dragonshadows. I have the greatest ideas in my mind and can get it down, but I can't get the details, fillers, speeches, etc. The following is a bit that I wrote in here about a year ago... I"m too lazy to re-write it so I don't sound so nit-picky... If you're an author you should know, (Just A Tip)It's a good thing to have each fic finished on your computer before uploading the first chapter. Daily updates are good, and it annoys me when people take forever (2 weeks+) to update fics, which means it probably annoys others too. Updating daily (provided the fic is good) can enhance it's quality by a lot, and have people clinging to every chapter anxiously awaiting the next (Just A Tip)If you're the author of multiple stories, it's not a good habit to start another story before the one you're working on now is done. If people really like the theme of your fic and the fic in general they want to read your other stories, but it brings dissapointment when half of your stories aren't done. (Just A More Important Tip) Really simple, using scene dividers in your fics are great. Post uses T-T-T-T-T-T-T It's an easily definable tool that divides scenes. It can be really helpful if you shift scenes or Point of Views a lot in a particular chapter. VERY IMPORTANT! (I may seem like I'm screaming at the moniter here... I am) (and this is to the legions of writers that fill the TT category with multitudes of fics that make no sense and are CRAP) If you're a new writer, with your first story up, good for you (no sarcasm)! you've made it past the hurdle thatI haven't jumped yet.. now go check your story and make sure other people can READ IT! I SWEAR, there are so many great fics out there that I flame because IT'S TOO HARD TO UNDERSTAND. If you can't do three SIMPLE yet OOOOOOHHHHH SOOOO NECESSARY STEPS: have proper speech puncuation. (placement of ""s) start a new paragraph when a different person starts talking downright HAVE PARAGRAPHS then you should STOP, LOOK, and CORRECT YOURSELF. Your fic would be five times as good if you can do those three Principle things. If you're looking at me and saying, "oh F.U. I know how to make paragraphs!" then make sure you hit enter(or return) twice for the paragraphs to show up on your fic. If you do, then I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to the people that don't! END Have you ever heard of ANGER MANAGEMENT? |
