I am not a consistent person, and that is really all you need to know about me as an author. As a person, however, perhaps you want to know a bit more. Don't know why you would but here are the bare bones basics. Personal Name: Kiki or Kevin (depending mostly on what people feel like calling me that day. To make it easier for you, my legal name is Mariah. Feel free to call me whichever takes your fancy). Age: A very recent 18. Which means I am legally allowed to watch porn... because, ya know, I totally didn't before (riiiiiiiight). Nationality: American... although Maine is really more part of Canada. Canada should totally annex us. Come on Canada, you know you want to :). Religion: Athiest. Though it's not really a religion, but people like me to put that there so... Sexual orientation: Ah here's an interesting one. Well to spare you the page long explanation of my sexuality, I am going to leave it at bi/pansexual, and you can just let your mind wander from there. SAAB: Female. Gender: I honestly don't like to identify as either. I'm rather gender-fluid which is hard for most people to accept. Everyone likes to ask "so what are you? What do you prefer for gender pronouns? Why can't you just make it easier for us and be normal?" to which I promptly answer, "I am me. You can use whatever pronouns you please. And if I tried to be normal, I would be lying to both you and myself." So, yeah, take from that what you will. Grade: Just graduated. Taking a year off before I head off to college. Favorite pairings: Though I respect all types of couples, I prefer to read yaoi/yuri. It really boils down to preference. I have nothing against straight people :). I'm in love with Zukaang from Avatar TLA and I also love Tuki or maybe it's Soph... Toph/Suki, whatever you want to call it. In BBT, Sheldon/Leonard is my favorite pairing... mostly because of how incredibly awkward it is. Also Penny/Amy is really awesome because the show lends itself really well to it. I'll think of more as I go... Things I love: rain, short men, drum solos, funky patterns, the 90's, skipping, ear gauges, unicorns, bad horror films, youtube, man-thongs, rainbow strap-ons, cookie dough, Demetri Martin, lip-syncing, drag queens, Buddhists, nail polish remover, people reading to me, silk pillowcases, tiki statues, walking sticks, grapes, Cleopatra, Cracked (website), DIY projects, porn, Jack White, easter eggs, 3 am showers. Things I hate: child safety locks, slut-shaming, ferris wheels, things that are maple flavored, feet, not being able to drink even though I'm allowed to smoke, strip, and/or sign up for the army (no I am not doing any of these things, I'm just saying it's ridiculous that I'm allowed to do these and not allowed to drink), logical fallacies, set ideals, every word that comes out of Ann Coulter's mouth (though I don't actually hate HER mostly because I do not know her.) Ask me anything except for my contact information because I will not tell you. Have an amazing life :). What I am working on: Well, currently I'm working on a kind of steam-punkesque story. Zukaang. I hope for it to be novel-length. It's still in the brainstorming phases, so I don't want to reveal too much, but it will be loosely based off the song "Coin-operated boy" by the Dresden Dolls. Hopefully it will be as deliciously weird as I want it to be. And I'll have some one-shots out while I'm working on that as it could be one of those "years in the making" type deals, but I'll reveal more about it as it comes along and maybe I'll have a summary and a prequel up sometime soon. I don't want to go chapter by chapter though, because I know myself, and if I'm not feeling it, I'll just leave it half done. So I'm not posting an actual chapter until I am at least completely done with the drafting phase. |
