Rin Okumura kept in mind what Shiro Fujimoto said: "All kinds of humans and demons will seek you out for their own agendas!" Yet he and Shiro hadn't realized demons and humans weren't the only ones after Rin. There were beings that surpassed even the high-ranked demons, and the only objective on their agenda is Rin's death. Some chapters are rated M for vivid descriptions of gore.

Rin Okumura is tired of being referred to as nothing but the son of Satan by everyone – including Yukio. Why can't people see him for who he is, not what he is?

"Then, then, there would be faces. First, it would be random students from school. That brunette in Chemistry. Those foreign exchange students who were twins. The scrawny guy who sat next to him in Math. They were all biting their hands into the flesh of his neck, and it hurt." Cursing. TRIGGER WARNING: Choking, thoughts of suicide, mental self-bashing.

"And with that he curled into the desk, a mess of tears and sadness and angst and a whole bunch of other things Rin Okumura wasn't supposed to be known for. Tears leaked from his eyes and stained the dark wood. His voiced sobbed and gasped and cracked with all the pain he'd kept locked deep inside of him." TRIGGER WARNING: Implied self-harm, suicide, and self-loathing.

"He felt the drug wash over him like a splash of cold water, except this made him groggy. He could barely keep his eyes open now. His thrashing had gone down considerably. He watches the blurry before him as the syringe was harshly pulled out, coated in his blood. All too quickly, darkness came, and his body became limp on the table." Character death? Maybe so, maybe no.

"Five minutes until he felt the rough, brown rope, scrape his neck. Five minutes until he waited in anticipation for the floor to drop from under him. Five minutes until they saw his body dangle, choked and lifeless." A little cursing, rated T more for the idea of the fic, if you get what I'm saying.

"He didn't care if he cried, if he broke down, or if his flames burnt the classroom. He just wanted them to shut up." This one has a bit more mild language than my first fic, for those who aren't a fan of it.

"They'd try not to show it, but he could tell. He could see their muscles contract in fear, hear their voices become softer, and feel the tension grow with each step he took, so thick you could cut it with a knife." Has a sprinkle of coarse language, for those who aren't very fond of it.
