After Buffy and Giles declare their love for each other, Buffy disappears, only to return a year later.

Set immediately after Season 5, episode 12 "Checkpoint" where Buffy told Quentin Travers who really was boss. Giles goes home to celebrate with a little help from a bottle of Glenlivet and receives an unexpected visitor.

Although neither one of them can remember how, the consequences of that night are with them forever.
