On holiday with her father in the south of France, Cosima stumbles across the beautiful, scientific Delphine and they instantly have a connection. Cosima's convinced that she's found not only her intellectual equal, but the future mother of her children. Amazingly enough, so has her father - Delphine's mother.

"Slowly but surely, she's corrupted — maybe by convincing scientists, maybe by Delphine, maybe by her own obsession with 'the science.'" - Cosima volunteers to infiltrate DYAD with Delphine to discover the whereabouts of Sarah's daughter, and find a cure for her illness.

It's almost worse, knowing that there's so much fear, so much pain, so much uncertainty that it can't be properly expressed.
