Post season 8. Sam completes the third trail, shutting the gates of hell and curing Crowley in the process. With Crowley now on side and annoying the hell out of Kevin, Dean cannot accept the fact that Sam is dead, and searches for ways to bring him back. Meanwhile, Castiel reunites the angels and leads heaven into a new dawn.
